Everything you need to know before booking your session at Cwm Orog.

The range is open every day provided a booking has been made, between 9am and 4pm. All sessions must be arranged in advance we do not accept walk-ins.

The youngest shooters allowed on the range are 14 year olds, but if clubs have a higher minimum age their rules must be followed.

We do not provide any firearms or equipment. You must either bring your own, or use firearms provided by your club.

We accommodate a wide variety of disciplines: Rifle (Air, Black Powder, Full-Bore, Small-Bore, Mini Rifle), Shotgun (Clay, Precision, Practical), and Pistol (Air, Black Powder).

Anyone with a proper licensing can shoot freely on our ranges, or if you are still in the process of obtaining a licence then you must be a
member with a registered club and adhere to their rules

Your booking gives you access to the entire site for the duration of your session. That includes all three ranges, every shooting position — the huts, sniper position, shooting table, clay and PSG areas — and the range control building. You are not limited to one position or range.

There is space for up to 30 cars. Access is via a gravel track up a mountain road — a sensible vehicle is recommended for the terrain.

It’s advised not to bring dogs to the site. If you do, they must not be noise-sensitive to firearms and must be kept either on a lead or secured inside — a kennel, car, or the range control building.

Individual sessions are £30 per person. Club day hire is £300. Annual hire is available at £4,000, covering 20 weekend days and 8 weekdays. Contact us for further details or to make a booking.
